The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at the University of Notre Dame aspires to create, sustain, and celebrate an inclusive environment for all of its citizens. Our department's commitment to diversity and inclusion is reflected in a steady rise in the percentages of under-represented minorities and women enrolled in our graduate program over the past several years. The gender composition of our tenured and tenure-track faculty is also shifting toward a higher percentage of women overall, as well as more women in the senior ranks.
