Biography

Mrs. Peterson received her B.A. in chemistry from St. Xavier College in 1965 and an M.S. from the University of Chicago in 1967. Joining the Notre Dame family in 1982 as a research associate with Professor Marvin Miller, Ms. Peterson worked on the synthesis of B-lactam antibiotics. Mrs. Peterson became a member of the teaching faculty in 1992 and has worked as the Coordinator of the Organic Laboratories since that time. She is currently working on developing more "green" experiments for the organic laboratories.
