Prof. Marya Lieberman was selected to give the Eminent Scientist Lecture at the American Chemical Society National Meeting Core Student Program on August 26, 2019. Her talk entitled "What if you could identify street drugs with a paper test card?", was co-sponsored by the ACS Division of Analytical Chemistry and targeted informing early career stage chemists on how Paper Analytical Device (PAD) technology can be leveraged to prevent drug overdose deaths. Prof. Lieberman's research and talk are highlighted in depth in the ACS Student Member Magazine, InChemistry, here.
