Dr. Steven Wietstock, Assistant Professional Specialist, in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and Coordinator of the Majors Laboratory has been elected to serve on the Biennial Committee on Chemical Education (BCCE).
This committee is a very important component of the American Chemical Society’s Division of Chemical Education. Only 50 to 60 of the Divisions 5400 members are selected each year. Through their help with its committees, task forces, and publications the Division of Chemical Education has been responsible for many of the improvements that have been made in chemical education over the past few decades.
