Bill Hawse receives prestigious ACS postdoctoral fellowship

Author: Alec Hipshear

Bill Hawse, a postdoctoral fellow in Prof. Brian M. Baker's laboratory, has received a fellowship from the American Cancer Society. The prestigious three year fellowship will support Dr. Hawse's work into the biophysical mechanisms of T cell receptor recognition and signaling.  One goal of the work is to improve the design of immunologically-based therapies for cancer, which hinge critically on optimizing the T cell receptor recognition process.
