Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Distinguished Graduate Alumnus Award
We are pleased to announce the establishment of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Distinguished Graduate Alumnus Award for graduates of our M.S. and Ph.D. programs who personify Notre Dame's tradition of excellence through personal achievement, professional accomplishment, or community service. This award will recognize a specific achievement of significant value, a series of significant achievements, or a career of noteworthy accomplishment. Eligible candidates will have earned an M.S. or Ph.D. in chemistry or biochemistry at Notre Dame more than five (5) years prior to the time of nomination. Nominations will remain active for three (3) consecutive review cycles, after which time candidates can be re-nominated. Nominations can be submitted at any time, but those submitted between January and April of a given year will be held for the next review cycle. Awardees will be invited to campus to meet with faculty and students and to give a seminar. If you wish to submit a nomination, please provide the following information: name of nominee, year of graduation (if known), and 1-2 paragraphs summarizing the nominee's accomplishments for which the award would be given.
