Dr. Boggess maintains the Mass Spectrometry Core Facility of the University. This facility offers a broad range of analyses which include low resolution spectra, high resolution accurate mass measurements, GC/MS, LC/MS, and LC/MS/MS. Ionization techniques available in the core include electron ionization (EI), chemical ionization (CI), fast atom bombardment (FAB) matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of flight (MALD-TOF), and electrospray ionization (ESI).
