Scientists Develop Algorithm to Understand Certain Diseases

Patricia Clark, Associate Professor at Notre Dame, and Bonnie Berger, professor of applied mathematics at MIT, have published a paper on the development of a computer algorithm that can accurately predict which parts of protein sequences help prevent the proteins from aggregating.

Katie Ward receives AHA fellowship

Katherine Ward, a 2nd year Ph.D. student in Biochemistry, has been awarded a predoctoral fellowship from the American Heart Association.
