Mobashery's Group Sheds New Light on Antibiotics and Survival of Bacteria
Research in the laboratory of Shahriar Mobashery in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry has led to further understanding of how penicillin and other antibiotics disrupt the process of bacterial cell wall assembly, a process that is critical for the survival of bacteria.
