Nine ND graduate students win teaching awards


Nine graduate students from the department of chemistry and biochemistry have won university and departmental teaching awards for their excellence in leading discussions and laboratory sections. Kyle Daily has been awarded the Emil T. Hofman Award for Teaching in the First Year Program and Rendy Rendy has been warded the Rudy Bottei Graduate Teaching Award. The Kaneb Outstanding Teaching Assistants for 2005 are Kathryn Armstrong, Beth Willis, Michael Hull, Katie Richter, Jeff Rood, Zhi Liang, and Jeff Carney. These graduate students are some of the best teaching assistants on campus and the department is proud of their accomplishments.
