Localization of Prrp during Oogenesis
Oocytes at the six stages of oogenesis were fix and incubated with an antibody specific for Prrp. A second antibody conjugated to Alexa Fluor 568 was used to detect the protein by scanning confocal microscopy. The oocytes are oriented with the vegetal pole to the left. Note thet Prrp is excluded from the nucleus and becomes localized to the vegetal cortex between stages III and IV.
